Effective date: July 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of GarageDoorNet (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the company you represent.
GarageDoorNet provides software for garage door businesses: quoting, CRM, scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and related tools. During the beta period the Service is provided free of charge and features may change, be added, or be removed as we develop the product.
Your company owns the business data it enters into the Service. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy and DPA. You are responsible for having the right to store your customers' information in the Service.
GarageDoorNet, including the door configurator and the graphics it generates, is owned by us and protected by copyright. Using the Service gives you a license to run your business on it; it does not give you rights to the software, its designs, or the technology behind it.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use the Service or its output to build a competing product, and you may not extract or reverse engineer the configurator's rendering logic. This applies in addition to the Acceptable Use Policy below.
You agree to the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.
The Service is in beta and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard on reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and you should keep independent records of business-critical information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GarageDoorNet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (which, during the free beta, may be zero).
You may stop using the Service and request deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms with notice where practicable. On termination you may request an export of your data for 30 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to account owners before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
