Production data is hosted on Supabase in AWS's Canada Central region (Montréal). Supabase's infrastructure holds SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications (per supabase.com/security, checked September 2026). Those are Supabase's certifications. GarageDoorNet itself has not been audited.
All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with TLS. Data is encrypted at rest with AES-256. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, so we cannot see them.
Every row of data is tagged to your company and guarded by database-enforced row-level security. Isolation is enforced at the database layer, not just in the app, so another company on the platform cannot query your data even if the application had a bug.
Within your company, admin, sales, and technician roles limit who sees what. Platform-level administrative access is restricted to named GarageDoorNet staff and is used only for support and operations.
Subscription billing is processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider. Card numbers never touch our servers.
We monitor errors in real time and fix issues as they appear. Keep your own records of anything business-critical, as the Terms of Service ask.
